Dear fellow driver,

Do you remember how you felt when the price of fuel started rocketing in the early 90’s due to uncertainty in the Middle East and our Chancellor’s relentless fuel tax escalator? We all thought the cost of fuel would ruin us then. Well look at it now - Who’d have thought diesel would now cost up to £6.00/gallon (£1.33/litre) , I know it's now fallen back to around £1.03/litre but it's still too expensive and petrol's not much cheaper. I was worried sick about the spiralling costs but couldn’t find any way to reduce the amount of fuel I was using.

Back then, by chance, I met a man from Lichfield called Tom Simpson. He was making a great product called Activ8 which reduced friction to a fraction between moving parts in machinery. This was proven to save industry fortunes in maintenance costs and wear and tear and he had already realised that his product not only reduced friction but vastly improved fuel consumption leading to better MPG. When he showed me how his product worked I was hooked on it. I hope you will be as impressed with the results as I was. Now fuel prices have gone through the roof I will save even more money. (go and watch the free demo-you will be amazed)

“Now fuel prices have gone through the roof I will save even more money.”

If you are in business you can do what I do. By driving my costs down I gain an advantage over my competitors so I either make more cash or I can cut prices and freeze the opposition out of the market.

The beauty of Activ8 is it doesn’t matter what type of fuel you use because Activ8 is not a fuel additive. You don’t need to put some in every tankful. Only one simple application, which you do yourself, is all that is needed to gain thousands of miles of reduced motoring costs. You can click on the link to see the official test results but the following is how I am finding it right now- tankful by tankful.

Personal motoring case study

Fleet annual total saving...

£387.04 + £85.39 + £28.05 = £500.48

The results have all been different but certainly worthwhile. You will see that the sports car saved the least and not just because it did the fewest miles. This is because Activ8 gives you options. By reducing friction right through the power train you either run more efficiently therefore saving fuel or you can go faster- I just can’t resist putting my foot down in the Rover! Over the years I’ve had varied but good results driving several different vehicles- Range Rover (diesel), Ford Transit (petrol and diesel), Land Rover (diesel), Vauxhall Astra (diesel), Mitsubishi L200 (diesel and biofuel). I don’t do a huge mileage in any of my vehicles but as you will see I still managed to beat the taxman and save over £500 last year on my fuel costs

"I still managed to beat the taxman and save over £500 last year on my fuel costs."

*Activ8 lasts for 25,000 miles or five oil changes. after that top up with half original quantity

** WARNING: ACTIV8 Friction Reducer should not be used in situations which rely upon metal to metal frictional drive, such as most automatic transmissions and limited slip differentials. However, at the recommended dosage, ACTIV8 can be used on motorcycles with wet clutches or vehicles with overdrives as long as the drive surfaces are mineral, such as cork, fibre or Kevlar and NOT metal to metal. Because ACTIV8 massively reduces friction it should not be put into brand new vehicles, you must follow the manufacturer's running in advice. this is usually between 8-10 thousand miles driving. If you are unsure please contact us for technical advice about your vehicle        technical@gr8news.co.uk

So how much do I need?

Engines (petrol or diesel) upto 1800cc...125ml

Engines (petrol or diesel) upto 5000cc...250ml

Gearboxes (manual or overdrive)...125ml

Differentials (standard and lock)...50ml

2 stroke oil (per litre of oil)...75ml

Motorcycles (wet clutch) upto 800cc...125ml

Motorcycles (wet clutch) over 800cc...200ml

for example

ACTIV8 FRICTION REDUCER in Diesel engines.

For the initial engine treatment, add Activ8 to engine oil at a ratio of between 2.5% and 5% of the sump capacity. i.e. 25ml to 50ml per litre of oil.

In the standard auto application this treatment will last for 25,000 miles, or 5 oil changes.

Manufacturers’ recommended oil changes must be observed but there is no need to add further Activ8 until 25,000 miles or 5 oil changes have been completed.

After this a further treatment of Activ8 , using half the original quantity, will maintain the required ratio for a further 25,000 miles or a further 5 oil changes.

ACTIV8 FRICTION REDUCER in 4 cycle/stroke petrol engines.

For the initial treatment add Activ8 to the engine oil at a ratio of between 2.5 and 5 percent of the sump capacity. i.e. between 25ml and 50ml per litre of oil.

In a standard auto application this treatment will last for 25k miles or 5 oil changes.

Manufacturers' recommended oil changes should be observed. But after the first treatment with Activ8 there is no need to add any more Activ8 until 25k miles or 5 oil changes have been completed.

A further treatment using half the original quantity will maintain the required ratio for a further 25k miles or 5 oil changes.

The exact percentage of Activ8 to oil, desirable for high performance engines, such as when racing, can only be ascertained during tuning trials.
